More than 4 stars, but not perfect.
I’m a Nuna mom, and just love the feel, fit, and features of their products. We’re also on the lower end of the height charts so I haven’t had to stress about outgrowing the harness too soon (as Nuna is shorter than some other brands out there). I had 2 Ravas and needed to replace my seats after being rear-ended. Because I was FF one already and same price as the Rava, I decided to try the Royl. I love the way these seats install and can quickly get a nice tight install. We’re using the 5-point harness and my son likes to find the magnets when we get out of the seat to “store” the straps. He also likes the adjustable leg rest, which I think will be handy because we do take long road trips multiple times a year. I haven’t had to deal with cleaning it yet, so my opinion on that aspect is TBD. I’m already conditioned to it taking a bit of time as a Rava mom. The one thing I think they really overlooked is the harness adjuster. I have to dig under the cover to access the button and it’s completely lacking the ease and detail of the Rava.
