Caroline is the author of fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, which have been nominated for eleven different awards, between them all. After working as a lighthouse keeper for thirteen years on the West Coast, she now lives and writes full-time in the village of New Denver, B.C. Her books include: A West Coast Summer, The Village of Many Hats, and Singing Away the Dark, which was published in French, Korean,Bulgarian, Chinese and Japanese. 

Claire Victoria Watson was raised on the West Coast, and spent most of her time outdoors on the ocean or in the forests. As a visual artist, her mediums of choice are pen & ink, watercolor, acrylic and digital. She is known for her stylized fine line work, organic color palette, and capturing the unique personality of the west coast in the wildlife, ocean and landscapes.
