Our nephew falls asleep in this in an instant, even fully strapped down, and it looks stylish as a bonus. Additionally, there was a mixup with our order, but Little Canadian immediately got in touch, offered an even better option than we'd originally ordered to resolve the issue, and still got us the carseat well before our daughter arrived. Great spot. :)
Purchased this car seat because it’s undoubtedly the safest. Is it the easiest? Probably not. It’s very heavy but again, adds to the safety, seems comfortable for my 11 month old but his head does lop forward when he falls asleep in it. Little Canadian we’re amazing though I purchased it on sale and they had sold out so they offered me another colour for the same price - much appreciated
After much research we went with this in the Mammoth option, as its made with merino wool- naturally flame resistant- and therefore free of flame retardants. The material is soft and breathable unlike many other carseat materials, so no sweaty back! We also have large babies- 97th percentile in height and weight- so we liked how long we could keep them rear-facing in this seat versus some others. We've had it for 3 years now with no issues.
My son recently grew out of his infant car seat, so this is my first time using the convertible. The only issue I have with it so far is that I find it difficult to tighten the harness once he is in the seat. I find I have to pull on it very hard (at an awkward angle) to tighten it. It’s frustrating. I did not have this problem with his infant car seat (Uppababy Mesa).
