The BabyBjörn Bouncer Begin is a lightweight, supportive baby bouncer designed especially for newborns and smaller babies from their very first days. Its innovative SnugFit™ design gently embraces your baby’s back, neck and head, creating a cozy, secure position without the need for an additional newborn insert. Baby’s own movements naturally power the gentle rocking motion, providing soothing entertainment while supporting the development of balance and motor skills. With easy-to-adjust covered buckles, a quick-zip washable seat and a fold-flat design, Bouncer Begin combines newborn comfort with everyday convenience.
Unlike BabyBjörn's Bouncer Bliss and Bouncer Balance Soft, which are designed as longer-term 2-in-1 bouncer-to-toddler-chair products, the Bouncer Begin is specifically optimized for the newborn stage. Its SnugFit™ construction creates a close, supportive fit without requiring a separate newborn insert, making it particularly suited to smaller babies from the beginning.
There's no motor, battery or cord needed. When your baby moves their arms and legs, the bouncer responds with gentle natural rocking. This movement can help soothe and entertain baby while also encouraging early development of balance and motor skills.
The fabric seat is designed for real-life baby messes. It can be zipped off in seconds, machine washed at 40°C, and quickly reattached using the secure SafeLock™ zipper.
Use Bouncer Begin only within the recommended weight and developmental limits. BabyBjörn recommends stopping use as a bouncer when your baby starts trying to sit up or reaches 20 lb / 9 kg, whichever comes first. Always use the safety harness and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Soft Brushed Woven
A softly cushioned fabric with an embracing feel. It is moisture-wicking, machine washable and quick-drying, and made from 100% recycled polyester.
Airy Soft Mesh
A lightweight, breathable option designed to keep baby cool and comfortable, particularly on warmer days. It is made from 100% polyester. Both fabrics meet OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Class 1 requirements for baby products.
