Health Canada has determined the products sold under the brands known as Simmons Kozy
Baby Nest/Lounger and Simmons Nido Baby Nest/Lounger do not meet the side height
requirements as set out in Section 39(b) of the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulation (CCBR).
As such the products create the potential for fall hazards resulting in serious injury when used
on an elevated surface.

Health Canada has ordered Junior Brands Corp. to recall, or implement remedial measures for, the Valco Baby Trend Duo Double Stroller, Model N0048.

What is the concern?

Testing by Health Canada has determined that the affected product may potentially pose a hazard to human safety, as identified through Health Canada's laboratory testing.

As of September 25, 2026, the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injury in Canada.

What should I do if I have this stroller?

STOP USING THE STROLLER IMMEDIATELY.

If you have an affected Valco Baby Trend Duo Double Stroller, please contact Junior Brands Corp. at support@juniorbrands.ca to request a repair kit.

Please provide us with a photograph of the Model Number and Batch Number on your stroller, exactly as they appear on the label

Once you receive the repair kit, follow the instructions provided with the kit carefully and ensure that the corrective measures have been properly completed before using the stroller again.

Customers should also review the updated Valco Baby Trend Duo instruction manual before using the stroller.

How to Find Your Model and Batch Number

Your Model Number and Batch Number are printed on a small Valco Baby label attached to the rear of the stroller frame.

To find the label:

• Stand behind the stroller and look at the back of the stroller.
• Look underneath the seat area, along the rear frame/chassis; above the brake bar.
• Look for a small rectangular Valco Baby label attached to the frame.
